Good morning,
I came across your website and the very interesting material including the family history of the Karnitz area that I am very much interesting in.
My family has been relocated from Vilnus and came here in 1949 and took pretty much the entire village of Lensin (next to Karnitz).
I am looking for history of the places, facts or perhaps previous families that owned the land & buildings here in the area. Would you have any material of Lensin in your possession? Secondly, if you look for some recent material (photos, information,) of the area I am happy to help you with these, being here in the area (Lensin, Karnitz)

Hi Matt,
thanks a lot for your message! As you can read on my site my family came from Pommern. They had manors in Karnitz, Neides, Nitznow, Gützelfitz, Morgow, Hoff, dresow, etc.
I have visited Pommern in summer 2018, had a look to the old places. It was very interesting for me. Looking forward to travel again.
